The Stross Code is a code used on soc.history.what-if
to identify the user’s
political alignment. It is named after author Charlie
Stross.
Though the code has been ostensibly posted to soc.history.what-if
, it is
difficult to find usage of this code due to Google Groups marking that group
as “Banned Content”: “soc.history.what-if has been identified as containing
spam, malware, or other malicious content.”
