Animaniacs Code is for alt.tv.animaniacs, fans of the 1993 animated TV
series Animaniacs. It can be
presumed that this newsgroup was a contributor to the segment “Please Please
Pleese Get A Life
Foundation”.
The code includes a reference to the Animaniacs Fan Purity Test scores;
version 4.0 of the test is available as two threads (part
1
and part
2)
on alt.tv.animaniacs. There is also a section referring to a
SQUIT
(“Super Quiz of Utterly Inane Trivia”).
Version 2.1 appears in many email signatures in alt.tv.animaniacs, but does
not seem to be archived.
Curation of the code passed from Jonathan Woodward to Wilford B. Wolf in 1996 with version 2.2.3.
