Furry Code (“The Code of the Furries”) is a self-ID code for the furry fandom.

Though the final official English version of this code was published in 1998, Russian fans translated the code to Russian independently. Version 1.4 appears only in Russian, credited to “Sandy (Fox) Lazevsky” (“Росс Смит, Сэнди Фокс Лазевски”). Later, Ambidexter observed differences or concerns in that translation, leading to a decoder linked from Livejournal and furnation.ru.
