The MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 CODE v0.9
------------------------------------------

What is the MST3K code?
-----------------------
Are you a MiSTy? Do you want to show the world that you're a MiSTy? Then this is the code for you! Simply by assembling this code and putting in in your signature, on your business cards, burning into your palm, or by various other means, you can convey your opinions and other important facts to MiSTies around the world.
Format of the code
------------------
The code begins with the letters 'MST' to represent, obviously, this code. This is then followed by the current version of the code, in this case, 'MN09' (representing Michael Neylon, v0.9). These elements are necessary, and must appear at the beginning of the code.
After this, you may use any of the following codes or combinations, in any order. You need not include them all, just what you want to let others know.
Each bit of code may or may not be separated by whitespace. Codes need not be presented in the order listed below.
Each code is case sensitive, but as of the time of this writing, you can use lower case without confusion. Be aware that future versions of this code may require case sensitivity.
For any rating, you may use the following additional characters, after the code, to indicate various feelings:
~ - You feel indifferent towards this topic. For example, "MN~"
? - You are confused by this topic. "MN?"
/ - You have two different feelings towards this topic. "MN-/++"
{} - You wish to obtain this rating in the future. "MN-{++}'
[] - You used to have this raing towards this topic. "MN++[-]"
In codes where intensity is indicated by a number of "+"s or "-"s, you can extend the scale beyond what is noted if you really feel that much, but please keep the number of extra symbols down: a row of 10 "+"s will reduce the credibility of your code.
And with that, here are the codes:
Characters/Actors
-----------------
Use the following scale to rate how you feel towards each character and/or actor.
--- I throw sharp heavy objects at the screen when this character is
on.
-- I flip the channel when this character is on-screen.
- I could care less for this character.
0 I don't have any feelings towards this character.
+ I like this character.
++ I *really* like this character.
+++ I have a shrine to this character, and/or I've written love notes
to this character.
Expand this scale as necessary in either direction.
Note that these roles are separate: Mike Nelson, the character, is different from Mike Nelson, the actor and writer.
Two special code apply to characters. If you wish to show preference to a character from a particular season, or a specific version of the characters, use "s#", where # is the season number, or "m#", where # is the revision number, after the character name code, but before the amount of feelings. For example, "I like the original Crow" would be "CRm1+" or "CRs1+".
