Phainocode is a code inspired by Geek Code but adapted for a non-geeky Russian audience. It is a continuation of a previous code, Geek-R.

This is how the idea of geek codes came about, first implemented by American Robert A. Hayden in his Geek Code. Starting with a simple attempt at translation and adaptation to Russian under the conditions of the American Geek Code, the author eventually accepted came to the conclusion that it was necessary to develop a separate code, which which would be constructed as a symbolic language, with an ordered structure and providing in advance for broad possibilities for expansion, which was called Phainocode (“Pheno- code”; from the Greek phainomai - to manifest - usually used is used to denote the external features of something (e.g. the term “phenotype” in biology)). The latest at the moment version: Phainocode 4.0. Previous versions were called Geek-R - all of them are outdated and their support is not supposed.
