Shadowrun Geek Code is a code for fans of the tabletop roleplaying game Shadowrun.

It originated on the ShadowRN ListServ, which was founded in 1992 by Robert Hayden (inventor of Geek Code) as alluded to in this 1997 message. Hayden did not appear to contribute in the creation of Shadowrun Geek Code and is not a listed author.

The code was independently updated in August 2006 (according to its page publication datestamp) after Shadowrun 4th Edition was released in 2005. It was not translated into French (as in comment #3 on the French 0.22 page).
